The people always make a place. I have fond memories of the Mae Hong Son area of Thailand. Thailand is probably my favourite country to tour is so far.
Possibly the climb in the Pyrenees from France into Andorra (2400m of continuous uphill) The hills in Northern Thailand sit a close second due to the steepness and heat
